Well, it would if it showed up on Google, which it doesn't yet. I think I need to tweak it some. I don't want to blight the little twit's life permanently, I just want him to pay back what he owes.
Well, from reading that, I'd feel inclined to give the young whelp a good horsewhipping if I ever met him in the street. Er... hang on, he's about 30 years younger than me. Have you thought of giving him an entry in Wikipedia? Employers, the US Dept of Homeland Security etc. routinely use this as a quick check. Especially effective since he has an unusual name! Incidentally, even if you kiss, make up and remove the posting, it will still sit in archives (where it can be searched for) for years after. Oh dear, maybe I have a nasty mind.
an' if you want posters puttin' up in Carshalton-on-the-hill, I can volunteer for that.
He sounds very naive, but will no doubt respond once he is sufficiently embarrassed. Personally, I'd go for public humiliation amongst his friends as the more effective strategy than future employers etc
I think if his 'friends' were likely to give a toss about his indebtedness to someone who had always been extremely supportive of his musical theatre ambitions and tolerant of his flightiness, well it might be worth considering... he's in with a very superficial, different crowd now.
